Let it go

Unless you’ve lived under a rock for the past few months, you know the movie Frozen.  And if little girls live in your house, you have most of the words to Let It Go memorized along with them.  My daughters dance around the house belting out the words.  It’s really adorable.  My husband especially loves listening to Sunshine flit around the house singing her precious little heart out.  He commented to me the other day how beautiful it was to just watch her happily sing and dance around the house, without a care in the world.  He was reflecting on all that she’s been through in her short little life, and how amazing it was to see her now relaxed, smiling, bouncing around, and singing like every other 3 1/2 year old preschooler.

He was right.  It was amazing to watch her dancing and bouncing and flitting and singing and smiling.  I am so thankful that the Father redeems brokenness.  Wow, we serve an awesome and mighty God.  Not that we are naive to think it will always be rainbows and puppy dogs.  Or Anna and Elsa.  I mean, they are practically the same.  But for now, the place where we are is pretty fantastic.
